Electric Vehicle Association (formerly the Electric Auto Association)
The EVA acts as a public source of information to communicate developments in electric vehicle technology, to encourage experimentation in the building of electric vehicles, and to organize public exhibits and events of electric vehicles, and to educate the public on the progress and benefits of electric vehicle technology.
Their mission is to drive change to accelerate the shift to plug-in vehicles powered by clean, affordable, domestic electricity to reduce our nation’s dependence on petroleum, improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This website has valuable information about electric and hybrid vehicles along with tips on purchasing a new vehicle.

The largest network of EV Charging Stations in the US is run by ChargePoint Inc. Members have posted Charging Stations outside of the ChargePoint network, so this is now (2020) second best to PlugShare as a list of other EV Charging stations.

N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center
The N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center, at N.C. State University supports clean energy technologies, practices, and policies in our state. It also administers the Database of Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE), a resource providing financial incentives and policies for alternative fuel vehicles.
